Elizabeth K. Plocher, MD

Subspecialty: Carpal and Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, Wrist Arthroscopy and Hand, Wrist and Elbow Fractures.

Dr. PlocherDr. Elizabeth Plocher is a board-certified orthopaedic hand surgeon who specializes in the treatment of hand, wrist and elbow disorders. She treats all patient populations and conditions ranging from the acutely traumatic to the chronically degenerative. Dr. Plocher is especially interested in nerve problems, such as carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, wrist arthroscopy and hand, wrist and elbow fractures.

She graduated from the University of St. Thomas and then went on to do her medical training at the University of Minnesota at the Minneapolis campus. From there Dr. Plocher went on to complete her orthopaedic surgical residency training at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Plocher then continued with a year of additional fellowship training in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery at Tufts Medical Center and the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA.

Dr. Plocher grew up in the Twin Cities and is thrilled to be returning to practice in Minnesota. Outside of work she enjoys cycling and spending time with her family.
