Christine Miskec, MS, PA-C

Christine Miskec, MS, PA-CChristine Miskec is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with advanced training in lower extremity injuries. She works alongside Dr. Daniel Buss. Chris earned her Master’s degree in Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, as well as a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Sports Psychology from the University of Kansas.

Her thesis at the University of Kansas was published and is titled “Varying environmental and menstrual cycle conditions do not affect the anaerobic power output of female athletes”. Her Bachelor’s degree was earned at Rockhurst University in Secondary Education.

Prior to joining Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists, Chris served as the head soccer coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and she is an avid athlete herself. She is a retired rugby player but continues to actively train with cross fit. In 2015, Miskec was elected to the Minnesota State Mavericks Hall of Fame.

Chris’s sports medicine interests are particularly focused on preventative training and education for athletes and post-surgical rehabilitation for better outcomes.
